Afternoon Teas

Afternoon tea is an English tradition dating back to the 1800s of taking tea with sandwiches, cakes and scones. It’s a delightful and relaxing time to sit back and savour good tea, tasty treats and good company. The history and charm of our 300 year old building offers the perfect setting.

Our Afternoon Tea includes freshly made sandwiches, a selection of cake and warm freshly made scones with clotted cream and jam, all served on a beautiful vintage stand.  Of course you also get to pick just the right drinks to accompany your food from our huge tea menu (or enjoy our fantastic coffee if you prefer!).

Afternoon Tea for two people is £35

Bookings for afternoon tea need to be made at least 24 hours in advance. The easiest way to do this is to phone us on 01380 720873.  We offer Afternoon Tea Mon - Sat every week.

We can also accommodate specific dietary requests; we have a wide selection of vegan and gluten free options too (including delicious scones)

VOUCHERS are also available for Afternoon Tea - these can be purchased in the cafe or we can email or post them as well.  For more info phone us or email: info@teainc.co.uk

With notice we can also create takeaway Afternoon Teas - the perfect treat to go and enjoy by the canal or at home.
